Sonascreen® IR
Acoustic Thermal Imager for Preventive Maintenance
Sonascreen® IR
Experience the world first: The SONASCREEN® IR combines the well-known features of the acoustic camera with a thermal imaging mode. It makes the most diverse sound sources audible and visible with an added thermal image for identifying damages or faults. With the SONASCREEN® IR acoustic camera, a wide variety of sound sources from the audible and ultrasonic range can be easily and quickly detected and visualized.
In addition, the SONASCREEN® also converts the inaudible ultrasound into an audible signal, which the user can hear via industrial headphones.
Make ultrasound audible and visible!

Acoustic Camera and thermal imager
The acoustic camera localizes sound sources using beamforming and visualizes complex acoustic information in color and in real-time as an acoustic photo or acoustic video. Thanks to its intuitive operation as well as preset setups (e.g. for leak detection), even inexperienced users can correctly evaluate the results at a glance.
In addition, the camera provides acoustic feedback via a hearing protection headset. In this way, we make ultrasound audible and visible. This has the advantage for the user in that he can quickly locate sound sources visually and evaluate their acoustic characteristics at the same time.
The additional application option as a thermal imaging camera significantly expands the range of functions and enables you to track operating conditions over time during regular inspections of your systems and to quickly identify deviating measured values to initiate further investigations.
Experience this new and unique range of functions in one device.
Application – Ultrasonic Leak Detection
- Broadband ultrasound
- Visualization of leakages in a spectrogram
- Adjustable bandpass filter and dynamic range
